Today we attended an event at the Amarante Youth Centre as part of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Optimisation for Industry: Empowering Students to Tackle Industrial Challenges”, an initiative organised by the School of Technology and Management at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.
At the invitation of the institution, our colleague Ana Ferrás presented the company, giving an insight into TPS’s operations, how we work in the field, and the principles that guide our work in the engineering and construction sector. Rather than a standard corporate presentation, we presented the students with concrete challenges and real-world problems from the industry, encouraging them to think critically, ask questions, and seek solutions with practical impact.
The event was attended by students from various European universities, currently on the Erasmus programme at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic of Porto, bringing an international dimension and different perspectives to the discussion.
We believe that it is at this intersection between business experience and academic vision that real opportunities for development are created for future professionals and for the sector itself.
We remain committed to actively contributing to a closer link between knowledge and practice.
