On July 5th 2021, the Integrated Basic School Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves was inaugurated, in the Municipality of Alcanena, in a ceremony that was attended by the Minister of Education, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues.
On what was the last day of classes for more than 400 children, the new School Center facilities were visited. With a total investment of more than 4 million euros, this work included the construction of a new building, with 15 classrooms and a refurbishment of the existing EB2 building, with intervention in common spaces and outside the building, in order to improve your energy behavior.
