The new Portela da Azóia Primary School in Loures has been officially opened, providing a new educational facility designed to meet the needs of 267 children in pre-school and the first cycle.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Loures, Ricardo Leão, and the President of the Union of Parishes of Santa Iria de Azóia, São João da Talha and Bobadela, Samuel Saldanha.
The new school comprises six classrooms for primary school and three for pre-school, as well as a canteen, library, sports hall/multi-purpose hall, playground and various communal areas that may also be used by the local community.
For TPS, playing a part in bringing spaces like this to life also means helping to build environments where future generations can learn, discover and grow.
