After a careful rehabilitation work signed by the duo Manuel Graça Dias and Egas José Vieira, the Theater – now known as LUCA (Place for Children and Young People and for the Arts) as it is geared towards youth shows – reopened with renewed lighting on the Sidewalk da Ajuda with its neoclassical style in a register of “Italian theatre”. In 2019, the equipment was recognized for the careful rehabilitation work carried out by winning the National Award for Urban Rehabilitation 2019 in the “City of Lisbon” and “Social Impact” category.
