Quinta do Pinhô

Quinta do Pinhô was part of a group of farms in the region that produced food for the Monastery of Santa Maria de Salzedas, a male monastery of the Cistercian Order. It underwent refurbishment work, reconfiguring its interior to suit the use and comfort expected from a contemporary home. The exterior of the farm kept its imposing character, mediating the relationship between the time it was built and the present.
