The Palmarés Architecture Aluminium TECHNAL 2024 Awards in Madrid honoured the Batalha Cinema Centre with the International Architecture Award in the ‘Rehabilitate’ category.
This refurbishment project carried out by our company naturally stands out not only because of its importance to the city of Porto, but also because it is considered a National Heritage building.
The intervention in this building, in which the architectural aspect played a major role, included the reformulation and remodelling of the Batalha Cinema Centre, with in-depth work on the structure, the rehabilitation of surfaces (floors, walls and ceilings), roofs and functional elements and the construction and installation of new equipment, access and networks.
