Last weekend, our employees in the Lisbon area swapped their construction helmets for racing helmets… and the seriousness of emails for the seriousness of the curves at Kiro-Karting in Bombarral.
Teams of two were formed, with names as creative as the manoeuvres some of them performed on the bends, and the great battle for glory began, with bursts of speed, epic overtaking and some ‘technical discussions’ about who should have braked first.
In the end, the winners climbed onto the podium (with pride worthy of Formula 1)… and the rest climbed onto the plate, because what followed was a lunch of spit-roasted pork worthy of champions! It was a moment of sharing between colleagues, friends and family, where the only thing hotter than the charcoal was the laughter.
More than just a race, this was an event designed for the well-being and motivation of our employees. We believe that a strong team is also built outside the workplace with camaraderie, fun and… a little healthy competition.
Because together we go far, but if we go karting we go faster!
