The Encosta da Penha Health Centre is a new public health facility under construction in the parish of Costa, in the municipality of Guimarães, designed to meet the current and future needs of the local population. It is a new generation health unit, which will bring together various primary health care services in a single building, promoting a more efficient, accessible and integrated response.
The project involves the construction of a modern, functional building adapted to technical and clinical requirements, which will house Family Health Units, a Public Health Unit, a Community Care Unit, diagnostic areas and clinical and administrative support spaces. The project was designed to ensure comfort for users, good working conditions for health professionals and efficient organisation of internal flows.
