There are some battles that are truly worth fighting. This was one of them.
For one day, the Lisbon Delegation swapped their helmets and boots for masks and paintball markers. The result? Lots of strategy, a few well-planned ambushes, several escape attempts… and a few paint splashes to tell the tale.
Despite being rival teams, there was one common goal: to have a great day. And mission accomplished.
Once the ‘war’ was over, a truce was signed over lunch, during a social gathering where the best moves (and the least successful ones) were discussed once again, this time amid laughter.
A different sort of day, organised by the Lisbon Branch, which was marked by good humour, camaraderie and moments that strengthened team spirit. After all, the very next day we were all back on the same side: building great projects… without spraying ink at one another.
